About Team Butler Muscle

We believe your personal trainer should be an inspiration and not only understand the concepts of fitness and nutrition but to live the lifestyle themselves. I have always believed that if your trainer needs a personal trainer, something is wrong.
    My trainers and I have been involved in the fitness industry since we were in high school. We have been changing lives ever since and have designed our lifestyles around bodybuilding, competing, and changing our clients’ lives forever.
     We take clients of all areas from wanting to compete in your first show, or just toning up and living a healthy active lifestyle.
     We offer a variety of very affordable packages that are all custom-built to each client based on their current status, time frame, and their goals.
     Our programs require 100% dedication. We make our clients put in the work so please understand this is going to be a challenge but we are here to help you with it every step of the way. We require weekly progress pics and offer unlimited support via email/text/phone your plans will likely change as you change.

Bronson Butler

4X Overall BodyBuilding Champion

Since the start of taking weight training classes to be bigger and better in high school, Bronson quickly became certified and knowledgeable in the process of transforming people’s bodies. What started as his talent quickly became his career path shortly out of high school and he now has over 14 years of experience in coaching athletes from all walks of life INCLUDING –
Football Players, Wrestlers, Track Runners, Teenagers, Senior Wellness, Bodybuilders, and of course COMPETITION PREP!
Bronson’s main work today is contest prep where he takes pride in bringing in his athletes with a very polished, symmetrical and aesthetically pleasing physique to the stage.

Russ Rhome

2021 Utah Classic 3X Overall CHAMPION

While growing up, Russ had a strong fascination in fitness and sports taking after his father, who was a bodybuilder and wrestler in the late 70s. Russ followed in his fathers footsteps, playing various sports including Weight Training and Wrestling Varsity throughout high school. Taking what he learned from weight training, Russ continued to experiment and educate himself inside the gym, and in the kitchen outside of high-school. Russ has spent the last 6 years as a Wildland Firefighter in the summer, and training 1 on 1 as a certified personal trainer during the winter. Working with all types of people over the last 5 years, Russ has since been full-time into the training field for Team Butler Muscle. Russ has also competed (and won) in several bodybuilding competitions and is now a full-time personal trainer for Team Butler Muscle.

Josie Medema - Team Butler Muscle

Josie Medema

2x Wellness Overall Champion

From a young age Josie has been an active and competitive individual. She moved from Chicago to Salt Lake City where she graduated spring of 2023 with a bachelor degree in Kinesiology and a minor in nutrition. Growing up in Chicago she was a competitive cheerleader, varsity gymnast, and varsity track athlete.
She moved from Chicago to Salt Lake City in 2019, where she graduated from the University of Utah in the spring of 2023 with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, and a minor in nutrition. Due in part by this, and living a healthy and active lifestyle, she is highly educated in how nutrition and physical activity can improve your quality of life both mentally and physically. Josie currently competes with extensive experience in competitive bodybuilding, and is an avid hiker and outdoors minded individual.
In addition, Josie is a certified personal trainer, and has myofascial stretch practitioner certifications.
She has been helping individuals learn how to prioritize their health through injury preventative exercises, resistance training, and nutrition since 2020. Josie is now a full time trainer for lifestyle and contest prep athletes with Team Butler Muscle. 

Alec Miller

2ND PLACE 2023 USA’s

Being actively involved with sports growing up and throughout high school, Alec has always had a passion for health, fitness, nutrition, and helping people. He first become involved with bodybuilding in 2018 while attending USU as a pre medical student. Initially he was drawn to bodybuilding as he was looking for new ways to push himself and see what he was capable of doing. He fell in love with the process of putting on muscle mass and then getting competition ready and since then has completed 5 more contest preparations, winning many first’s and most recently placed second at a national level competition. For over two years he has been involved with coaching athletes as well as the average person looking to gain muscle mass and/or lose body fat while making lifestyle changes to become healthier. 

Personal Training

We offer personal training at all levels. From bodybuilding and competition prep to general weight loss and strength/conditioning training. We are very experienced and knowledgeable in every aspect. Training people is and has always been a passion of mine.

We are confident that whatever your goals are, we can help you to achieve them. We challenge you to make a goal for yourself, bring it to us, and let’s make it a reality!!

Couples Training

If you are a couple or want to sign up with a friend, we will offer a team discount! This can also be a great way to challenge yourself and stay on track!!

There are so many reasons why online personal training is a better option!

Workout when it’s convenient for you!

It can be hard for some to find time to get to the gym, let alone work around a personal trainer’s schedule. With online training, you have your program and you can set your own schedule and train when you want the way you want with no one standing over your shoulder making you feel uncomfortable!!

It’s much more affordable!

Most big gym’s charge between $60-$80 per hour session with a personal trainer.
If you only do 1 session per week, that’s $240 per month!

Buying one of our online packages can last as long as you want it to last when you have a custom-built program fit to YOU!!
